Town Halls

Altoona Town Hall

Bill Lickert, Jason Mettley, & Bryan McCormick take questions from the crowd at the Town Hall in Altoona, PA.

During the month of April 2018, I sent out postcard invitations and scheduled six town hall meetings across Western Pennsylvania to reach out to as many retirees as possible. I wanted to do everything I could to meet with you face to face and keep you informed about the MPRA application, the filing process, the Butch Lewis Act (more information on our FAQ page), and the projected timeline of events affecting your pension. These town hall sessions were very well attended. Many of you drove long distances to be there, and I appreciated the opportunity to meet you and listen to your concerns.

Each meeting lasted approximately 1 and a half hours and I was joined by my actuary, Bryan McCormick, and my legal counsel, Jason Mettley.  Together, we fielded many questions from the audience at each location, and as promised, we will communicate your input and concerns to the Pension Fund Trustees in the near future.
